The Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Science in 91成人AV Informatics (MSHI) dual degree program was designed to help health care professionals and management-level business professionals to learn to apply health informatics skills and business knowledge in healthcare settings. Our degree:

  • Offers broad exposure to advanced-level health care applied analytical skills and core business knowledge

Curriculum

Foundation Course Prerequisites

These courses are required for candidates who do not have a bachelor's degree in business or who lack knowledge in the following disciplines:

  • ACCT 509 - Essentials/Fundamentals of Accounting
  • DSIM 509 - Essentials/Fundamentals of Quantitative Methods
  • ECON 509 - Essentials/Fundamentals of Economics
  • FIN 509 - Essentials/Fundamentals of Finance

91成人AV Informatics Program Requirements

Co-Requisites

Students who do not have a medical background will be required to take a two-credit hour MSHI 201 Medical Terminology and 91成人AVcare Essentials course before completing their third course in the program.

  • MSHI 504 - Advanced Systems Analysis

  • MSHI 524 - Epidemiology and Evidenced-Based 91成人AV Informatics
  • MSHI 525 - Key Standards in the 91成人AV Care Industry
  • MSHI 526 - Legal and Social Issues in 91成人AV Informatics

Students must also complete MSHI 540: Capstone, a three (3) credit hour course that satisfies the capstone degree requirement.

  • Unofficial Transcripts for Degree Most Recently Conferred (Undergraduate-Bachelor's or Graduate)
    • Additional Transcripts may be requested if you have completed less than 60 credits at your degree conferring institution, or if you are wishing to waive the MBA Pre-Requisite requirements (Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Economics)
  • Students with a GPA under 3.0 will be considered based on a holistic individual assessment that may require extra documentation.
