Fields of Study

  • Factors related to math learning and math performance in children and adults, including cognitive (e.g. working memory, language ability), affective (e.g. math anxiety and utility), and embodied (e.g. finger counting, gestures) factors
  • Math-specific language and its relation to mathematical performance
  • Development of mathematical skills in relation to the home numeracy environment.
