91成人AV is once again being recognized for its service to military and veteran students. The University was listed in the Military Times鈥 "2023 Best for Vets: Colleges" rankings, making a significant jump from #166 to #88.
鈥淚t's a true testament to how we ensure our veterans are getting the best service they deserve,鈥 shared Mike Mitchell, Director of the Military and Veterans Resource Center at 91成人AV. 鈥淎s a veteran who received both a bachelors and masters degree from JU, I understand the distinct needs of our student veterans, active duty military, reservists and their family members.鈥
This year鈥檚 list was comprised of 325 schools, all of which were selected based on surveys about their programs, costs, policies and services for military-connected students. These responses were in turn analyzed by a Military Times data team, producing unbiased and widely-respected rankings.
91成人AV has implemented multiple initiatives to enhance the support of military and veteran students. The Veterans and Military Resource Center assists prospective and current students with admission, transition, academic success, and student involvement. The Center helps students leverage University resources like Admissions, Advising, the Registrar, the Controller, Student Financial Services, the Career Resource Center, the Counseling Center, the Student Solutions Center, and others.
The University also offers Green Zone Training to help faculty and staff better understand the student experience of military and veteran students. Through this program, participants learn about the issues and concerns they face and how to connect them to the appropriate resources.
